# Billing

> Plans, usage quotas, and self-service subscription management

Found under **Billing**, on the tenant's own account.

## Signing up

A visitor can sign up two ways: general signup (`/signup`, then pick a plan) or a direct plan-specific link (`/signup/{plan}`) — useful for linking straight from a pricing page.

## Plans & quotas

Plans are set up by you, the site owner, from [Admin → Plans](/mailer/admin-guide#plans) — each with its own usage quota. Tenants choose a plan at signup or upgrade later from their own Billing page.

## Stripe Checkout & Billing Portal

If you've configured Stripe under [Admin → Integrations](/mailer/admin-guide#integrations), plan changes go through a real Stripe Checkout session, and tenants manage payment methods and view invoices through Stripe's own hosted Billing Portal.

Register `https://your-domain/api/webhooks/stripe` as the webhook endpoint in your Stripe dashboard, subscribed to:

* `checkout.session.completed`
* `customer.subscription.updated`
* `customer.subscription.deleted`

  Without Stripe configured, tenant accounts can still be created and assigned a plan manually from the [Admin panel](/mailer/admin-guide#accounts) — self-service billing is optional, not required to use the platform.
