# Introduction

> A self-hosted social media scheduling platform for Facebook, Instagram, and X

Azvian Social is a self-hosted social media scheduling platform: connect Facebook Page, Instagram, and X accounts, compose and schedule posts on a visual calendar, generate captions with AI, and track publish outcomes — all installed on your own server. It's multi-tenant, so each customer account gets its own isolated team, connections, and content.

## Requirements

* PHP 8.3+, with extensions: `mbstring`, `openssl`, `json`, `pdo_mysql`, `fileinfo`, `dom`, `libxml`, `curl`, `iconv`
* MySQL 8+ (or compatible)
* A queue worker (`php artisan queue:work`) — scheduled post publishing is a queued job, not run inline on the request
* A cron entry running `php artisan schedule:run` every minute — drives scheduled post dispatch
* (Optional) A Facebook Login app (covers both Facebook Page and Instagram Business connections) and/or an X Developer Portal app, if you want tenants to connect real accounts
* (Optional) An OpenAI or Anthropic API key, for AI caption generation
