Scheduled posts don’t publish on a page load — they’re picked up by the background queue pipeline (see Installation → Background processes) at their scheduled time. This means the queue worker and cron entry both need to actually be running, or scheduled posts will just sit there past their scheduled time without publishing. Each attempted delivery to a connected platform is recorded as aPostTarget — this is also the raw data Analytics is built from.
