Admin Guide

Everything here lives under Admin, a separate area from the Staff portal — reachable from the ”← Back to app” link in the Staff sidebar, or by visiting /admin directly as an admin user.

Users & permissions

Admin → Users. Create staff and admin accounts, and set per-user permission overrides on top of the base admin/staff role — so you can, for example, give one staff member access to Reports without making them a full admin. An admin can’t demote or deactivate their own account, to prevent accidental self-lockout.

Integrations

Admin → Integrations, split into three tabs: Secret fields are masked after saving and only get overwritten if you type a new value — leaving one blank on a later save doesn’t wipe out what’s already there.

Menu & theme

Admin → Menu lets you reorder or hide navigation items without touching any code. Theme styling (including custom CSS) is configurable from Admin → Settings.

Email templates

Admin → Email Templates. Customize the wording of system emails (ticket auto-responses, invoice notifications, etc.) with merge-field support, without editing a Blade file.

Announcements

Admin → Announcements. Post a message that surfaces to staff — for team-wide notices that don’t belong in the newsfeed.

Backups

Admin → Backups. Scheduled automatic backups (requires the cron job from Installation), downloadable directly from this screen.

Activity log

Admin → Activity Log. An audit trail of account-level actions across the system.

​

IMAP log

Admin → IMAP Log. If you’ve configured inbound email so replies to ticket notifications automatically become ticket replies, this is where you can see what’s come through and troubleshoot anything that didn’t import correctly.

Updates & licensing

Admin → Updates shows whether a newer release is available for your license — see Updating. License activation itself happens once, during installation.
